The MGS series guided wave radar level gauge uses time-domain reflection (TDR) technology to emit high-frequency pulses that propagate along the guided wave rod (cable).
Main parameters
Operating frequency 100MHz~1.8GHz
Measurement range cable type 0.3m~20m; Rod type 0.3m~4m; Coaxial type 0.1m~4m
Accuracy ± 3mm
Product Features
Measurement is not affected by factors such as liquid density, looseness of solid materials, temperature, dust, steam, etc;
The foam on the liquid surface has no effect on the measurement;
Chinese menu, easy and intuitive to operate;
The measurement of coaxial rod probes is completely unaffected by the internal structure of the tank and the installation riser;
The probe and cable are easy to replace.
The MGS series guided wave radar level gauge uses time-domain reflection (TDR) technology to emit high-frequency pulses that propagate along the guided wave rod (cable). When encountering the measured medium, due to a sudden change in dielectric constant, some of the energy of the high-frequency pulses is reflected, and the reflected pulses return to the instrument along the guided wave rod (cable). By measuring the time difference between the emitted pulse and the reflected pulse, and using the following formula, the distance from the measured substance to the instrument flange can be calculated.
